EVERYDAY LEADERSHIP

David Driftmier is a highly experienced international technology executive who believes leadership takes many forms, of which leading people is but one.  A self-avowed “leadership junkie,” he believes that while only a few will be CEOs and presidents, everyone can benefit from a better understanding of everyday leadership.  David breaks his own leadership training into two major phases:  his training as a naval officer in the United States Navy and later as a business leader with major corporations, most notably Microsoft, where he served in a variety of roles for over 25 years.  During that time he worked directly with leaders at the highest levels in both the public and private sectors in more than 40 countries. 
David grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, and spent his adult life in a variety of cities across the US and Canada, including Annapolis, Maryland, where he now resides with his wife of over 30 years.
